Three, advantages and disadvantages of hot stamping process:

1. Advantages:

(1) The whole face of hot printing products, no ink residue;

(2) No ink and other bad smell, air pollution;

(3) The color pattern is printed once to reduce the loss;

(4) The process is simple, the production management and process are smooth, and the product quality insurance factor is large;

(5) A wide range of processing, suitable for paper, wood, plastic, leather and so on.

2. Disadvantages:

(1) not suitable for stamping surface uneven pockmarked or matte substrate;

(2) Metal, glass, ceramics, nylon and other products are generally not suitable for hot stamping, unless first painted or screened;

(3) Match the pattern color with the base color of the workpiece: when stamping, the hiding power of the color of electrochemical aluminum (gold, silver, copper, red, blue) is very strong, even if the base color of the workpiece is black, it can be completely covered; However, when the transfer paper with lighter colors such as white and yellow is used on the black background for hot printing, its hiding effect is not as good as pad printing and screen printing.
