Coloring process of cosmetic packaging bottle

2023-12-19

The coloring process mainly refers to the color and texture effect that the appearance of the packaging material can present.

1. Anodized aluminum: The aluminum exterior is wrapped in the inner plastic layer.

2. Electroplating (UV): Compared with spraying, the effect is bright.

Electroplating refers to a surface processing method in which the base metal to be plated is used as the cathode in the salt solution containing the metal to be plated, and the cations of the metal to be plated in the plating solution are deposited on the surface of the base metal through electrolysis to form a coating.

The effect of electroplating is relatively bright, and it is typically used in the pump head of the bottle cap, and the bottle body is also electroplated, and the cost is relatively high. The electroplating process is not extremely environmentally friendly, and it is usually checked for environmental protection at the end of the year, which will affect the delivery schedule.

3. Spraying: Compared with electroplating, the color is dull and matte.

Spraying refers to a coating method that is dispersed into uniform and fine droplets by means of pressure or centrifugal force through a spray gun or disc atomizer, and is applied to the surface of the object to be coated. In the application of cosmetic bottles, there are several treatment methods including inner bottle spraying, outer bottle inner spraying, and bottle surface spraying.

Inner bottle and outer spray: It is sprayed on the outside of the inner bottle (inner tank) and there is a clear gap between the outer bottle and the outer bottle.

Outer bottle inner spray: It is to spray on the inner side of the outer bottle, which looks larger from the outside. The most classic is that the Laneige isolation cream bottle is treated like this, which requires the bottle structure to have an inner liner.

Outer bottle spraying: It is the spraying process directly on the outermost surface of the bottle body.

4. Frosting: A layer of frosted texture.

The principle of frosting is to rub the accelerated abrasive particles to the surface of the bottle body to achieve rust removal, deburring, destination or surface pretreatment, etc., which can alter the surface finish and stress state of the bottle body.

5. Brushed gold and silver: It is really a film. If you look carefully, you can find the connection gap on the bottle.

6. Secondary oxidation: secondary oxidation is performed on the original oxide layer, so as to achieve a pattern covered with a matte surface on the smooth surface or a pattern with a smooth surface on the matte surface. Mostly used for logo production.

7. Injection molding color: color powder is added to the raw material when the product is injection molded, or the color masterbatch is directly used as the material. The craft is relatively inexpensive.
